About SGN Club
We connect seniors to the community and the community to their seniors.
Meet Ronald Petersen
SGN Club began with an idea that has guided every step of this project:
"Connect seniors to the community and the community to their seniors."
Ronald Petersen envisioned a place where older adults could continue exploring America, share their memories, learn from one another, discover local events, and remain active members of their communities.
Following a life-changing spinal injury that resulted in paralysis, that vision became even more meaningful. The challenges of limited mobility reinforced the importance of connection, purpose, and having a welcoming place where older adults can continue discovering new experiences and helping one another.
SGN Club is being built as a community first. It combines local exploration, trusted information, discussion groups, caregiver resources, travel opportunities, and community partnerships into one easy-to-use platform designed specifically for older adults.
Every improvement made to SGN Club is guided by one simple question:
"Will this help older adults stay connected, informed, and engaged?"
That mission continues to shape SGN Club as it grows into a nationwide community built around respect, curiosity, and meaningful connections.
Built Around Connection
SGN Club is designed to help older adults explore, participate, share stories, ask questions, and remain connected to the communities around them.
